Before Eden Externals was a tool shop, it was a working landscaping crew. We still take on garden maintenance and landscaping jobs across Carlisle and the surrounding area — using the same tools we sell, on the same soil and weather our customers deal with.

Services We Offer

Lawn Care & Maintenance

Regular mowing, edging and lawn health treatments suited to Cumbria's wetter growing season, including scarifying and aeration for compacted or waterlogged ground.

Hedge Trimming & Shaping
Routine and one-off hedge cuts, from formal shaping to bringing an overgrown boundary hedge back under control safely and cleanly.

Garden Clearance
Full or partial garden clear-outs — overgrown beds, old planting, fallen branches and general green waste removal, including autumn leaf clearance.

Bed Preparation & Planting
Soil cultivation, bed turning and planting support ahead of a new growing season, particularly for heavier clay ground that needs extra breaking up before it's plantable.

Seasonal Garden Care
Spring clean-ups after winter dieback, autumn preparation before the wet season sets in, and general upkeep visits scheduled around what your garden needs at that time of year.

One-Off & Ongoing Visits
Single jobs for a specific task, or a regular maintenance schedule if you'd rather not think about it — weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits available.

We currently cover Carlisle and the surrounding Eden Valley. If you're just outside this area, get in touch — we take on nearby jobs where our schedule allows.
